How It Works

Rice Sortexing Process

01

Pre-Cleaning

Raw rice is passed through cleaning machines to remove dust, husk particles, straw, stones, and other large impurities.

02

De-Stoning

Stones and heavy particles are separated using de-stoner machines.

03

Hulling & Polishing
(if required)

The rice undergoes husk removal, polishing, or whitening, depending on the type (raw, parboiled, steam, or basmati).

04

Sieving & Grading

Rice is graded based on size (full grain, broken, medium) using sieves and graders.

05

Optical Sortexing

High-tech Sortex machines use cameras/sensors to detect discolored, chalky, or defective grains and remove them using air ejectors.

06

Final Inspection

Manual or secondary sorting ensures premium quality and uniformity.

07

Packing

The sorted rice is hygienically packed in bags (10kg, 25kg, 50kg, or jumbo packs) for storage and export.
